Hot Water Cylinders
Unvented hot water cylinders are designed to ensure that a copious amount of stored hot heater is available on demand for a multitude of domestic uses. Unvented cylinders are connected directly to the mains water system which means they offer high water flow rates to provide higher water pressure for showers and bathrooms.
Unvented cylinders run directly from the cold mains supply, so they can be installed almost anywhere. As a result of this they do not require a tank of water in the loft which often attract bugs, rodents and are also a freeze hazard. Hot water cylinders come in a wide array of sizes from under the sink to models designed for multiple bathrooms. Also, solar cylinders are another option as unvented cylinders as they come with a very good shelf life for around 25 years. They are highly insulated to reduce loss of heat which helps reduce your energy costs and carbon emissions.
Unvented / Pressurized hot water storage cylinders need to be installed by a qualified experienced installer. I’ve installed plenty of these systems in all the array of setups which are offered plus I can offer you a great price for a replacement cylinder. System upgrades or a complete central heating system with pressurized hot water is also available. If you’d like a complete central heating system please head to the Central Heating / Radiators Service page to find out more.
