Bathrooms
There are so many aspects that go into a bathroom, with careful detailed planning and using reliable friendly trades, ensuring there’re no delays and the work runs smoothly. Most aspects I cover myself such as plumbing, tiling, carpentry, painting and light building works. This ensures continuity on the work carried out on your property. Trades such as plastering, heavy building works, window / door installation and electrics are covered by fully qualified and insured tradesmen. I’ve worked with these tradesmen for years and can vouch for their workmanship and professionalism.
- Painting – depending on your level of tiling I can paint your ceiling on either existing or if we need to get it re-plastered and painted, I can handle this for you.
- With many years of painting experience I can offer this as part of the project, especially if part of the works includes plastering I can paint from bare plaster. Either just the ceiling or, quite often, walls if having half-height tiles and also doors and skirting board. It’s one less thing for you, the customer, to worry about, and if you’re a dab hand with a brush too, you can do it yourself.
- Waste removal, especially on bigger projects is something I can arrange for you as part of your en suite wet room fitting service. The people I use take it away for you, separating and recycling as much of it as possible. This is the most environmentally appropriate way of dealing with your waste. This is also a much more cost-effective way to dispose of it than using a skip and other similar services.
Wet Rooms
En Suite wet rooms create a very open-plan minimalistic look being visually appealing and practical for mobility and cleaning. Waterproofing is so important and using good quality waterproofing tanking systems and equipment is essential. As is using purpose-built cement boards to tile onto, creating a very strong waterproof system that will last for year to come. Underfloor heating can also be incorporated into the design making it very inviting and cosy.
En Suites
En suites are generally smaller than a standard bathroom so a lot of planning has to go into them. I can recommend many space-saving ideas to maximise the space if you are upgrading an existing bathroom or if you plan on creating an en suite bathroom in your bedroom, I can help you achieve this. I have created many en suite bathrooms from scratch, bringing on board all the required trades in at the exact right time. Using lighting, tiling and carefully planned sanitary ware to make the perfect en suite for you.
